[Ellie lets out a rusty laugh. The sting has finally started to go out of the memory.]

She took me on a whole-ass date and I didn't even realize it. I thought kissing her was my own half-baked idea.

[ Glimmer breaks into giggles. ]

That must have been so awkward.

Dude, I apologized right after kissing her. Awkward doesn't begin to cover it.

[ Glimmer sounds like she's being overcome with laughter. ]

She was confused about that part, too.

[A laugh bubbles up through her words, only barely catching at the edges. It's taken a long time to move on, to tell herself that it's okay. It hurts, but it feels good to talk about her, too. Somebody should know about Riley.]

[ Glimmer's laughter subsides a little as she sprawls out on the bed. There's a faint sigh. ]

I had like one friend growing up. I never thought of kissing him until pretty recently. Besides, he probably never thought of me that way...

[Ellie's momentarily hung up on the idea of Glimmer talking to other people to get advice about her, particularly when she hasn't met Catra yet. Fuck.

I kinda nudged her in the right direction by pointing out that Adora might not know how Catra feels? I don't want to just, you know, force them to confront each other if they're not ready.
